·         Measure the width of the window

·         Then you need to determine where you want the curtain rod to swing, this may either be to the frame or near the upper edge of the window.

·         Make sure when you are installing it you need to make a mark in order for you to put the screws in the right position.

·         Before installing the screws it would be best if you drill holes first.  This will be a great way for you to make sure that the screws are properly installed.

Keep in mind that you need to level both the curtain rods with the side by side windows.
